Human reason insofar as it makes correct judgments about human conduct or production. As related to human conduct, right reason is reason in conformity with the natural moral law and is the proximate rule of morality in the order of nature (as distinct from the order of grace and the New Law), the ultimate or supreme rule of morality being the eternal law. Also, as right reason  relates to human conduct, it can be understood as identical with prudence. As it relates to production, right reason can be understood as identical with art.
