Opinion

In classical logic, intellectual assent based upon reasons, whether extrinsic or intrinsic, providing sufficient evidence to incline the intellect toward one given position over others.  In such a state, however, the mind retains the apprehension that other options might be true.  This is due to the fact that the intellect is inclined toward the truth in question, though not immediately or demonstratively.  Also see Certitude, Probable.
