Common Sense

1. The internal sense by which one is aware that one is perceiving things, is able to distinguish the various senses, and unify the various objects of the external senses. 2. Knowledge of the first self-evident principles supposed to be possessed by all people. 3. Correct judgments about ordinary practical matters supposed to be possessed by most people or capable of being recognized by most people.
