The philosophical study of the nature of beauty and those things related to beauty.  This division of philosophy is relatively recent in the history of philosophy and does not represent a classical division of philosophy.  More in keeping with classical philosophy would be a division known as the “philosophy of making,” which would be another form of practical philosophy alongside moral philosophy.
